Swimsuits in February!

It is not very often that a kid can get the chance to enjoy the water hose without being freezing cold in the month of February. We had unseasonably hot weather (mid 90's) and the girls got to cool off like none other!

Let's Rodeo!

We took the girls to the fairgrounds at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo and they had a blast! We went on a Tuesday evening (following a day of fog and drizzle) and there were very few people there. The girls loved being able to walk around and look at things and not have to wait in line for anything!

Valentine's 2009

After many failed attempts of adding a slide show to this blog entry, I finally gave up and just decided to post a few of my favorite pictures of the girls and my beautiful niece, Ayden, and her handsome brother, Colby. The kids were so good during the photo shoot, considering that all they wanted to do was play and enjoy the nice weather.

Is an armadillo just a giant rat?

Last night, we heard a strange rustling in the leaves outside. When we finally figured out what was making the noise, this is what we found.....

The armadillo was stuck in an enclosed area of the backyard and could not figure out how to get out. We opened the gate for him and he ran out of there as fast has his short little legs could carry him.
